The following prompts are displayed.

Select an option [Update data link/Write data link] <Update data link>:

Update Data Link

Updates the linked data in a table in your drawing with data that has been changed in the external source file.


Select Objects: Updates selected tables containing data links with data that has been changed in the external source file.
Data Link: Specifies the name of a data link to update with data that has been changed in the external source file.

Entering [?] lists the data links in the current drawing.
All Data Links: Updates all data links in all tables in the drawing with data that has been changed in the external source file.

Updates the linked data in an external file with data that has been changed in a table in your drawing.

A table that contains data links displays indicators around linked cells. If you hover your cursor over the data link, information about the data link is displayed.

Select Objects: Uploads data that has been changed from the original linked content to the source file.
